Hello, my name is Renzo.
I am a highly skilled and accomplished computer scientist with over 40 years of experience in the IT field. Throughout my career, I have worked in both industry and banking environments, gaining a wealth of knowledge and expertise in various areas of the field. I have a strong understanding of a wide range of programming languages, from historical languages such as assembler and COBOL, to modern languages like C-family, Ada, and Java. In addition, I am well-versed in various methodologies including Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and SaFe.
I was born and raised in Italy, but I have also had the opportunity to live and work in Switzerland for an extended period of time. This international experience has allowed me to travel extensively throughout Europe and visit countries outside the continent, such as Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Morocco.
In my younger years, I was an avid biker and enjoyed going on short rides on the weekends. While I may not be able to bike as much as I used to, I still enjoy getting out on my bike whenever I can, regardless of the weather. I also enjoy escaping to the countryside on weekends and going on camping trips in my camper.
My nickname, RenzoKing, was given to me by a dear friend, who introduced me to his two-year-old daughter as the „Renzo King.“ It has stuck with me ever since and has become a part of my identity.
